Enterprise Architecture
Applied to Your Reality

I developed the Fit-for-Purpose EA framework — and I help organizations apply it. Two service types built on the same intellectual foundation. Every engagement delivered personally.

TOGAF® EA Practitioner (2025) SAP Certified EA (2026) Founder, Fit-for-Purpose EA 25+ Years Field Experience Ex-Accenture Senior Lead Author · 2 Published Books

All engagements scoped and priced individually by enquiry — no fixed packages. 1×1 delivery: no associates, no substitutes.

Two Service Types. One Clear Distinction.

Training and consulting serve different organizational needs and carry different accountabilities. Training transfers knowledge and builds capability — you apply it. Consulting shares responsibility for a specific outcome — I deliver a defined result alongside you.

In a training programme, I am accountable for the quality of the learning experience. Your team is accountable for what they do with it. In a consulting engagement, I am accountable for the quality and conclusions of the deliverable I produce — the diagnostic report, the governance design, the architecture brief. The distinction matters because it shapes the conversation before we begin.

Two service types — scroll to read both, or jump directly:

CAT-1 to CAT-4 Training Programmes I am accountable for the quality of the learning experience — you apply it

Four Programmes. One Framework.

Each programme is built on the Fit-for-Purpose EA framework and shaped to your organization's context. A client can progress through the full sequence without repetition — each programme picks up where the last left off. Delivered on-site in Bangkok Metropolitan Area or virtually anywhere.

CAT-1
EA Executive Strategy Session
"What EA should deliver — and how to know if it does"
1 Full Day On-site or Virtual Thai or English

Executives need to understand what EA should deliver for their organization, why it commonly fails to do so, and what their sponsorship role requires. This session is designed to produce organizational clarity and documented outputs — not knowledge transfer for its own sake. By the end of the day, leadership leaves with a shared position and a direction they can act on.

Participants will leave with
  • A clear, non-technical understanding of what EA is for and how it creates organizational value
  • The three diagnostic questions that reveal whether EA is fit for purpose in their organization
  • The language and mental model to engage productively with their architecture function
  • An understanding of the six engagement archetypes and which one applies to their situation
  • A documented organizational EA direction — agreed in the room, ready to act on
Suitable for
  • CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and Heads of Digital
  • Senior business leaders involved in technology investment decisions
  • Executive or steering committees reviewing EA effectiveness
CAT-2
EA Practitioner Intensive
"Configure your next engagement correctly from the start"
2 Full Days On-site or Virtual Thai or English

Two days structured to move from conceptual clarity on Day 1 to applied framework practice on Day 2. Practitioners work through the complete Fit-for-Purpose framework — three pillars, three-axis tailoring model, six engagement archetypes, and the 18-pattern diagnostic — with structured exercises that apply directly to the participants' own active engagements. By end of Day 2, each participant can scope an EA engagement correctly and recognize the failure patterns they may already be experiencing.

Participants will leave with
  • A working understanding of all three tailoring axes and how to apply them immediately
  • The ability to identify the correct engagement archetype for any active engagement
  • A configured engagement plan for one real current engagement — developed during the programme
  • The 18-pattern diagnostic checklist applied to their current architectural challenges
  • The ADM reframed as a thinking model rather than a workflow — and what changes as a result
Suitable for
  • Enterprise Architects at all seniority levels
  • Architecture team leads and principal architects
  • Business analysts and solution architects moving into EA roles
CAT-3
EA Transformation Program
"Full capability build — including a live workshop on your real challenge"
2 Full Days On-site recommended Mixed group Thai or English

The mixed audience — EA practitioners and business stakeholders together — is deliberate. Sustainable EA only works when both sides understand each other's language and constraints. Day 1 builds the shared framework foundation. Day 2 is a working session: participants apply the framework to their organization's actual current architecture challenge. The output is a draft deliverable the organization can use immediately.

Participants will leave with
  • A shared organizational vocabulary for EA decisions — practitioners and business stakeholders aligned
  • The complete Fit-for-Purpose framework applied to a real architecture challenge in the room
  • A draft architecture deliverable — developed on Day 2 using the framework
  • A prioritized 90-day EA improvement plan specific to the organization
  • The transition from classroom learning to applied practice in a single programme
Suitable for
  • Organizations building an EA function or resetting an existing one
  • EA teams and their key business stakeholders together
  • Organizations entering a major transformation who need EA capability aligned first
CAT-4
Flexibility Programme
"Not every organization fits a standard format"
By arrangement Any audience On-site or Virtual Thai or English

Scoped from the same content architecture as the standard programmes, but with topic areas, depth, duration, and outputs defined through a pre-engagement conversation. Organizations can request specific modules or topics relevant to their context — including any combination of the standard programme content. Four named scenarios are available as starting points.

Named scenarios
ScenarioFormat

Half-day or Full day
C-Suite EA + AI Strategy SessionAI
For senior leadership wanting to explore EA governance and strategic AI investment decisions together — combining the EA framework at executive level with the Agentic AI strategic lens.
Half-day

CON-1 to CON-5 Consulting Services I am accountable for a specific deliverable — not just the learning experience

Five Services. Specific Outcomes.

In consulting engagements I bring my own analysis, my own conclusions, and my own recommendations — and I am accountable for their quality. The client may accept, challenge, or override those recommendations — but they are mine, not a facilitated group output. Every engagement scoped individually. All enquiry-only.

CON-1
EA Diagnostic & Maturity Assessment
"An honest, structured assessment of where your EA function stands"
Duration2–4 weeks
DeliverableWritten diagnostic report + presentation to senior sponsor
PilotFirst engagement at pilot pricing in exchange for documented case study

Most organizations that approach me for consulting help do not yet know precisely what their architecture problem is — they know something is not working. The EA Diagnostic is the right starting point: a structured assessment that identifies what is actually happening, where the most critical gaps are, and what the organization should prioritize first. The diagnostic report is my assessment — not a self-assessment instrument the client fills in.

Engagement flow
Week 1Scoping & setup. Pre-engagement call, identify interview stakeholders, request architecture artifacts, agree scope boundaries.
Weeks 1–2Stakeholder interviews. 5–8 structured interviews across EA lead, CIO or IT director, business stakeholders, and recent project sponsors.
Weeks 2–3Artifact review. Architecture documents, governance policies, project intake processes, and any existing self-assessments.
Weeks 3–4Synthesis & report. Findings synthesized across five EA maturity dimensions. Key findings validated with EA lead before finalizing.
ClosePresentation. Diagnostic report presented to senior sponsor and EA lead — findings, prioritized gaps, and recommended next steps.
Deliverables include
  • EA maturity assessment across five dimensions with ratings and evidence
  • The three highest-priority gaps and their organizational cost
  • Active failure patterns from the 18-pattern diagnostic — root cause analysis and specific remedies
  • Prioritized improvement roadmap — sequenced by impact and feasibility, not theoretical best practice
  • Executive summary suitable for presentation to the CIO or Architecture Board
CON-2
EA Governance Design
"A governance structure your organization will actually use"
Duration3–6 weeks
DeliverableGovernance design document + implementation roadmap
PrerequisiteCON-1 completed or equivalent maturity understanding available

EA governance is the most consistently broken element of EA practice — not because organizations do not know they need it, but because they design it in the wrong order. Fit-for-Purpose governance starts from the decisions that need to be governed and works backward to the minimum governance structure that governs them well. The output is implementation-ready documentation — clear enough to be used without my ongoing involvement.

Engagement flow
1–2 weeksDiscovery. Understand what decisions are being made, who makes them, what goes wrong, and why existing governance is not working. 4–6 structured interviews.
1–2 weeksDesign. Decision rights, review cadence, escalation paths, integration with project governance. Initial design presented to EA lead for feedback.
1 weekValidation. Governance design tested against two or three real architecture scenarios from recent history. Refined. Presented to senior sponsor.
1 weekDocumentation. Final governance design documentation produced — implementation-ready without ongoing involvement required.
Deliverables include
  • Decision rights framework — who decides what, at what level, with what escalation path
  • Architecture Board terms of reference — purpose, membership, decision rights, meeting cadence
  • Architecture review process — submission criteria, review criteria, and dispensation management
  • Compliance assessment model — how conformance is measured without becoming bureaucratic
  • Implementation roadmap — how to stand up the governance structure with minimum disruption
CON-3
EA Advisory
"A senior EA practitioner available on an ongoing basis"
Duration3–6 months initial, renewable quarterly
Cadence2 × 90-minute advisory sessions per month
On-demandEmail access — 48-hour response commitment
PrerequisiteCON-1 or CON-2 completed

Some organizations are in the middle of a fundamental change in how they practice EA and need an experienced external perspective available on an ongoing basis. This is a sustained advisory relationship — not a project. Designed for organizations that have an EA team but lack access to a senior practitioner who can review decisions, challenge assumptions, and provide authoritative guidance on difficult architectural questions as they arise.

Monthly rhythm
SessionsTwo 90-minute advisory sessions per month. 30 minutes review of current EA work and challenges; 45 minutes advisory discussion and challenge; 15 minutes agreed actions and next agenda.
On-demandEmail access between sessions. Response within 48 hours for non-urgent questions within agreed scope.
QuarterlyReview and renewal. Progress review against transformation objectives and renewal decision.
What the advisory covers
  • Review and written feedback on architecture decisions, documents, and proposals
  • Guidance on engagement configuration — applying the Fit-for-Purpose framework to active engagements
  • Architecture Board participation — available to attend board sessions as an independent senior reviewer
  • Honest challenge of direction — I will say when I think the approach is wrong
CON-4
EA × Agentic AI Advisory
"Enterprise Architecture in the age of AI — strategy, governance, and investment"
Pilot phase — first engagements offered at pilot pricing in exchange for documented case study
Duration3–5 weeks
FocusStrategic, governance, and decision layer — not technology implementation
DeliverableEA × AI Strategic Brief with prioritized recommendations

Agentic AI is not a technology decision — it is an architectural and strategic decision. Organizations investing in AI without a clear architectural and governance foundation are making expensive decisions without the right information. This engagement operates entirely at the strategic, governance, and decision layer — not at the technology or implementation layer. The three primary lenses are Enterprise Transformation in the age of AI, Strategic AI Investment, and Agentic AI Adoption Governance.

Engagement flow
Week 1Scoping. Define the specific AI investment or transformation question in scope. Understand the organizational context, current AI initiatives, and the decision being faced.
Weeks 2–3Assessment. Review of current EA position, existing AI strategy documents, investment proposals, and governance arrangements. Structured interviews with senior stakeholders.
Weeks 4–5EA × AI Strategic Brief. Findings, gaps, and prioritized recommendations across the three advisory lenses — transformation, investment, and governance.
Three advisory lenses
  • Enterprise Transformation in the age of AI: How Agentic AI changes the nature of the organization's capabilities, processes, and architecture — and what EA needs to do differently as a result
  • Strategic AI Investment — Value-to-Effort Ratio framework: Applying the Fit-for-Purpose concept to AI investment decisions — which AI initiatives are worth the architectural cost and which are not
  • Agentic AI Adoption Governance: The governance decisions that need to be made before autonomous AI systems operate inside the organization — decision rights, accountability structures, and oversight mechanisms
CON-5
Architecture Decision Support
"Expert review of a specific, high-stakes architectural decision"
Duration2–4 weeks
ScopeOne specific architecture decision
DeliverableWritten decision brief + presentation to decision-maker

Some of the most valuable advisory work is the shortest. An organization faces a specific architecture decision — a platform choice, a major integration, a migration, a vendor selection with architecture implications — and needs an experienced external perspective before committing. The deliverable is my analysis and recommendation — not a facilitated discussion of the options. My recommendation stands as a professional opinion; the decision belongs to the client.

Engagement flow
Days 1–3Scoping. Define the decision precisely: what is being decided, what options are on the table, the constraints, and what a good outcome looks like.
Weeks 2–3Review. 3–5 stakeholder interviews. Review of vendor proposals, technical documentation, or architecture artifacts. Application of the Fit-for-Purpose diagnostic questions to each option.
Weeks 3–4Decision Brief. Options reviewed, assessment against diagnostic questions, my recommendation with full rationale, and the risks of each option including the recommended one.
ClosePresentation. In-person or virtual presentation to the decision-maker and relevant stakeholders. Q&A. My recommendation stands — the decision belongs to the client.
